Citronellol is a terpene found in some cannabis strains and other plants like citronella, eucalyptus, catnip and others as well as essential oils. It has a fresh, citrus-floral aroma that is often used as a fragrance in perfumes and beauty products and is well known as a mosquito repellant. Research is growing into the medical uses of Citronellol as it shows potential for use as an anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and cardiovascular regulating agent.
