Cannabis reclaim is the byproduct of consuming cannabis. It is that sticky tar-like residue substance that accumulates inside the bong or dab rig and coats the inner surface of smoking devices over time. Reclaim consists of partially vaporized cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds that have condensed and solidified upon cooling. Reclaim is the recondensed version of cannabis concentrates and typically has a dark yellow or brown color.

Resin is a term often referred to as both reclaim and rosin, although these are completely different products. Rosin is a concentrated form of resin that is extracted and processed in contains a high terpene profile and cannabinoid content. Dab reclaim is the resin that is left over from smoking concentrates or rosin.

Many people want to know if you can smoke reclaim and if it will get you high. Some people take this reclaim and line a paper joint or smoke in a bowl or pipe. While it will get you high as it does contain decarboxylated cannabinoids, the terpenes have already been burned, and therefore, it will not have a good taste or smell. On the contrary, it will taste pretty bad and can even be considered unsafe. This is because it contains carbon, which is a byproduct of smoking just like tar and ash. Smoking reclaim requires a higher heat to burn than smoking rosin and can cause respiratory effects, irritating your lungs, a sore throat, and a headache.
