Camphene is a terpene found in cannabis and other plants, particularly conifers such as the camphor tree and Douglas fir. It is the primary terpene found in camphor oil and is also found in cypress oil, nutmeg, bergamot oil, and mothballs. Camphor is widely used today as a fragrance in cosmetics, flavoring for foods, is also used for pain relief, cough relief, and exhibits therapeutic antiviral and antimicrobial properties.
