Delta 10, or Δ10-THC, is a cannabinoid that is less potent than the familiar Delta 9 that we all know and love. Usually, when referring to the THC content in marijuana, we are talking about Delta-9. Delta-10 is another cannabinoid, like Delta-8, that has gained more awareness lately and is considered to be a weaker version of Delta-9. Both Delta-8 and Delta-10 have milder effects as they do not bind as well to the CB1 receptors and will not get you as high as the most common Delta-9, although they can provide weaker psychoactive effects.

Delta-8 is thought to provide more of a sedative, Indica feeling, whereas delta-10 is more uplifting, like a Sativa. Both Delta 8 and Delta 10 are commonly derived from hemp plants and CBD oil since hemp is legal now in the U.S. thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill. You might see products like Gummies, edibles, and vape cartridges labeled as 99% Delta-8 or Delta-10, be wary of these, and you should always purchase delta products that have been tested by an accredited lab to ensure all chemicals have been properly purged and they are safe for consumption.
